Our Insurance Policy
Participating Insurance Plans
Dentistry for Children, P.A. participates with the following plans:
Delta Dental of New Jersey
Premier Plan
Advantage Plus Program
PPO Point of Service Program
Included under these plans will be many Delta Dentals of other states.
Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield Dental Plans
Traditional
Dental Option
Please understand that by participating with these plans it does not mean that you will not have co-pay responsibilities. You will be required to pay for your deductibles and co-pay percentages.
If your child’s treatment schedule requires several visits you will be given a written estimate showing your approximate responsibility. You will be asked to follow the arrangements stated in your estimate unless other arrangements have been requested.
Claims will be filed electronically as long as you have presented all of your insurance information.
As a consumer it is incumbent upon you to know and understand your insurance benefits, limitations, and deductibles. If you are unsure of your policy we will be happy to help you once you have made the request of the staff. Benefits will not automatically be reviewed without a direct request from you.
Dentistry for Children will not be responsible for treatment performed and not covered by your policy.
Non-Participating Plans
Although we may not participate directly (we are not contracted) with your insurance company we will be happy to obtain as much information as possible to help you understand your plan and benefits. As long as you have presented your insurance card and all pertinent information we will be happy to file your claims electronically, accepting assignment of benefits. You will be asked to pay your deductible and co-pay percentages at each visit. There are some plans that are self-administered and are union based where we are unable to file electronically.
